Clinical Development Lead

+ Provide clinical support and direction to community nursing staff within the locality by sharing their expertise.
+ Works alongside the Operational Team Lead to ensure staff are competent in their role and new staff and inducted and supported to reach competency required for their role.
+ Implementing evidence-based practice to ensure best patient care.
+ The function of the Clinical Lead is to provide enhanced clinical support and expertise to the patients within their locality.
+ Hold a Specialist Community Nursing Qualification.
+ Hold an Independent Prescribing qualification (V300) or being to undertake within 12 months in post.
+ Promoting a service which prevents patients from having inappropriate or unscheduled hospital admissions and helps facilitate hospital discharge., + Ensure care in their locality is based on sound assessment and care planning processes.
+ I.T. literate to support staff transitioning to mobile working.
+ Positively represent the service both internally and externally. Communicate highly complex information using informal and formal means to ensure people are fully informed of the service.
+ Ensure that appropriate Statutory and mandatory training has been undertaken by all team members.
+ Responsible for the retention and recruitment, induction, personal and professional development of staff.
+ Monitor clinical supervision, induction, preceptorship and development of staff.

+ Qualified Nurse

+ Experience of managing a team
+ Experience of change management.
