Full Job Description
The postholder will take a lead role in delivering a variety of educational programmes across the service, including but not limited to:
- University Student Placement and Work Experience Lead
- Podiatry Apprenticeship Programme Lead
- New Starter Induction, Training, and Development Lead
- Preceptor Link/Lead
- Education and Development of Qualified Staff, including promoting Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities
- Management of Service Study Leave Guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and associated processes
- Lead/Link for Learning & Development (L&D) Team In addition, you will work as a qualified, specialist Band 7 podiatrist with HCPC registration, providing expert clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for foot, ankle, and related conditions. The primary focus will be improving mobility, reducing pain, and maintaining tissue viability for patients eligible for NHS podiatry services in Oxfordshire, with a particular emphasis on managing the HIGH RISK foot.
