Full Job Description
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and highly motivated, forward thinking individual for the role of Clinical Education Facilitator to work within the NMAHP team. The post is crucial to support our expanding work streams of clinical skills, preceptorship, and the care certificate and, to our support workers pastorally in the clinical environment. This is a fantastic development opportunity for an AHP/Nurse/Nursing Associate/Midwife.
The post holder will be a proven team player with excellent communication skills with relevant experience.The post-holder will support, encourage, influence and facilitate newly qualified, new in post (i.e. Health Care Assistants) and international nursing recruits within the clinical environment to develop practice that is of the highest standard, patient centred and evidence based.The post holder will be required to coordinate the pastoral support of learners across the breadth of the programmes and initiatives supported by the team. The post holder will also support the facilitation and teaching of various sessions delivered by the NMAHP team.

This band 5 role will be required to support the breadth of the Health Care Support Worker experience and all other programmes supported by the NMAHP team who also deliver post registration support and clinical skills. You will be required to work in partnership with the Clinical & Professional teams to ensure the provision of high quality multi-professional learning environment. Providing pastoral and professional support to the HCSWs, Preceptees, and Trust staff. You will also be required to support the delivery of training of the Care Certificate Programme, Preceptorship and Clinical Skills. In partnership with the pre-registration team, support and facilitate the development of clinical practice mentors/ practice supervisors/ assessors, providing supervision and support structures in order to build education in practice capability, consistency and efficiency. Support the development of the healthcare support workforce enabling staff to reach their
potential/aspirations.
