Full Job Description
The Gynaecology ward is looking for an experienced nurse with a passion for Women's Health & education, to take on the role of Clinical Educator.
We are a dynamic unit treating a wide range of Gynaecological conditions and work closely with the multi-disciplinary team. The ward includes a 20 bedded inpatient unit, 24 hour triage and a 4 bedded day case., The role requires the individual to work alongside the team, including the Ward Sister, Practice Development Nurse and Deputy Sisters to ensure a high quality of care and safety standards are maintained.
The emphasis of the role is on education, where you contribute to the development and delivery of education to a wide range of learners. This range of learners includes but is not limited to: Apprentices, training nurse associates, student nurses, preceptees, experienced nurses, care support workers and allied health professional students. You will receive an annual appraisal and personal development plan which will enable you to have structure within your role and help you to develop professionally. We support and recognise the importance of education and support individuals with development and training opportunities.
The post does involve working clinically, working a weekdays and some weeknights.
