An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit an enthusiastic and innovative Registered Nurse for the role of Clinical Educator for the Cardiology ward within the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust. This post has been created to lead and develop services to facilitate and enhance the Cardiology staff development. This post is based in clinical practice and involves working directly with patients, relatives and clinicians.
We are looking for experienced staff nurses who are passionate about working in a supportive learning environment and who are keen to progress to a band 6 clinical educator role within Cardiology and ACCU., The successful applicant will be a registered nurse with extensive experience with the field of Cardiology. The ability to initiate, sustain and evaluate change is essential.,
- Registered Nurse (Part 1. 8. 12 or 15 of register depending on area of practice) or National certification in area of Practice.
- Previous cardiac experience - minimum 2 years.
- Practice Assessor training.
- Experience in teaching. Desirable criteria
- Previous band 6 experience.
- Proof of education at level 7 - with cardiac medicine relevance.
- Evidence of teaching and education qualification., You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
