Full Job Description
The post holder will have responsibility for delivering care to patients within the clincal haematology service based at Bradford Royal Infirmary. This will include inpatient and outpatient based services. Inpatient work will include review of patients with haematological illness on different wards. The outpatient responsibility includes participation in clinical haematology Clinics. There is an on call rota of 1:4.
We are seeking to employ to this post commencing from October 2024 on a fixed term basis.
Candidates must be fully registered with the General Medical Council and hold a license to practice by the intended start date.
The main duties of the post are the day to day management of patients, wards, and out-patients. They will have the opportunity to develop specialty skills. They will be expected to manage patients in general haematology clinics under consultant supervision and have the opportunity to attend specialist clinics such as Lymphoma. Registrars are expected to develop in-depth practice within the expectations of their skills level.

The clinical fellow will undertake any other relevant duties allocated by the Consultants, which may be necessary from time to time.
The clinical fellow will undertake to perform additional duties in occasional emergencies and unforeseen circumstances, and to provide prospective cover for leave of other middle grade staff.
