Full Job Description

The successful post holder will undertake duties as required by the demands of the Colorectal Unit service, and these duties will include clinical work, emergency and elective surgery within the colorectal firm, ward work, outpatient clinics and other duties as required by consultants.

In order to be considered applicants must meet the following essential criteria: Completion of a Core Surgical Programme for Specialty Training or equivalent previous experience in Colorectal Surgery and be able to deal with general emergency and trauma admissions ., The applicant must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMC's Good Medical Practice (2013). Non-UK applicants must possess the IELTS/OET exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.

Depending on experience £61,825 (ST3-ST5) or £70,425 (ST6+) pro rata per annum
