Full Job Description

A bi-weekly skull base MDT takes place in a designated video-conference linked MDT room. Specialist NF2 MDT's occur on a 6 monthly basis. The department is supported by a state of the art audiological service providing all aspects of audio-vestibular investigations and rehabilitation. The hospital runs many national and international training courses., The candidate trained in all aspects of lateral skull base and neuro-otological procedures. There may also be opportunity of some exposure to anterior skull base and extended endoscopic anterior skull base surgery. The successful candidate will have a central role in the preparation and presentation of patients in the MDT.

These posts are aimed at candidates approaching the end of their higher surgical training with the FRCS ORL-HNS or equivalent, or post CCT. Prospective candidates should have completed at least ST 6 or equivalent higher surgical training in Otolaryngology.,
