Full Job Description

Starrycare is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Clinical Fellow in Anaesthetics and ICU to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a doctor looking to further develop their expertise in anaesthetics and critical care within a supportive and innovative environment. The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients in the operating theatres and the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)., Administer anesthesia during surgical procedures and monitor patients' vital signs.
Provide critical care and support for patients in the ICU, including those with life-threatening conditions.
Participate in pre-operative assessments and post-operative care.
Assist senior consultants with complex procedures and case management.
Respond to medical emergencies in the ICU and other hospital areas.
Contribute to patient management decisions in multidisciplinary team meetings.
Engage in teaching and training of junior doctors, nurses, and medical students.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure timely documentation.
Adhere to clinical governance and safety protocols, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
Postgraduate experience in Anaesthetics and Intensive Care Medicine.
Excellent decision-making, communication, and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in high-pressure environments with critically ill patients.
Willingness to participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
Desirable:
Fellowship in Anaesthesia or Critical Care.
Experience in research, teaching, and clinical leadership.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) or equivalent certification.
