Full Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for doctors wanting to join our enthusiastic and dynamic team and to gain experience in Emergency Medicine in a busy Emergency Department and Major Trauma Centre., The Clinical Fellows are required to perform clinical work in the Emergency Department, as the first doctor to see patients with the range of problems that present to a busy ED.

There are some traditional 100% clinical posts and also some posts split 80% clinical and 20% non-clinical time.

The non-clinical posts include trauma, SIM, education, sepsis, ultrasound, digital & IT, senior health, wellbeing and research including a senior research fellow post.

This is an exciting and innovative opportunity to not only improve your clinical skills in this world renowned Major Trauma Centre but also provides dedicated time to develop your special interest and produce publications for presentations at national and international conferences and improve your CV.

We are looking for candidates at clinical fellow level with a level of experience post F2 (i.e. minimum 2 years full time post-graduation)

Applicants who have not worked in the NHS must have a minimum of 12 months experience in Emergency Medicine. This needs to be based full time in an Emergency Department.

Experience of working in the NHS or an equivalent healthcare system is essential.
