Clinical Fellow (ST3+) in Anaesthetics

The clinical fellow will be required to take responsibility with his/her colleagues in the provision of a full anaesthetic service to the Trust.

The clinical fellow will be responsible to a nominated consultant and the Clinical Director of the department and will be expected to work with consultants to maintain standards, education and develop skills., Routine duties include providing peri operative care for patients in the trust including pre and postoperative visits. On call duties include providing anaesthetic services for obstetrics or intensive care on a full shift rota. Duties of the post may be subject to change due to reconfiguration of services within the trust.

In addition to the many deprived housing estates there are an increasing number of areas which are becoming popular with more affluent residents. It also boasts some of the best parks in London, there is a thriving artist community and it is home to many small businesses and shops.

The population is among the most multi-ethnic in the UK. People from the Caribbean, Africa & Turkey are among the larger groups.
