Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Clinical Fellow to join our busy Trauma & Orthopaedic Department for a period of 12 months

The T&O department is a cohesive and harmonious team consisting of 11 consultants, 1 Specialist Grade, 12 Specialty Drs, 3 Training STs, 6 Clinical Fellows, 2 FY2s and 3 FY1s.

The successful candidate will be involved in a 1:10 rota, to include on call cover, ward cover, opportunity to support in theatres and clinics

The post is ideal for candidates looking to enhance their T&O experience and CV., You will be attached to two or more Consultant Firms. You will be expected to look after those firmsin- patients as required.o This is a 1 in 10 on call rota patterno 1 doctor on-call. This is from 0800-2030. You are first on-call to the EmergencyDepartment with the close support of the on-call middle grade & consultant. This is thecase 7 days a week.o 1 doctor on night shift from 2000-0830. You are first on-call, covering the 2 orthopaedicwards and any outliers. No other duty during the 24 hour period of each day. This is thecase 7 days a week.o 2-4 doctors, dependant on leave, are covering the in-patients Monday-Friday
