Full Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated Clinical Fellow with an interest in Oculoplastic within the Ophthalmology Service at The Royal London Hospital. This is a unique opportunity to gain advanced subspecialty training in all aspects of Ophthalmology within a major trauma centre. The ophthalmology service works closely with the Oral & Maxillo-facial, ENT and Plastics services undertaking joint operating lists, clinics and MDT meetings., · Supporting growth of service while maintaining RTT 18 week performance.
· To support the Adult Ophthalmology Service including Cataract & Oculoplastic at the Royal London Hospital
· To participate in emergency ophthalmic care and the 3 tier on call rota (this Job will support the 1^st on call rotation rota, 1 in 7)
· To actively participate in clinical trials, research, audit and teaching.
· To undertake administrative duties associated with the care of your patients.
· To respond to queries from patients, general practitioners and colleagues.
· To assist the SDM with complaint responses, when identified within the complaint.
