Full Job Description

An exciting opportunitiy has arisen for an experienced administrator to join the Clinical Governance Team within Community Servcies on a permentant basis. We assist with all governance aspects for all District Nursing, Allied Health Professionals and 5 Community Hospitals., The role includes diary management, preparation of agendas and minute taking, maintaining spreadsheets and updating systems, progressing actions/evidence gathering from incidents and complaints with relevant staff and organising Root Cause Analysis', other meetings and governance events. This role is hybrid working therfore allows a balance to work from home and within base following training. We would support applicants who would prefer to work part time or job share. All training will be provided over approximately an 6 week period this will be based in Chester le Street Hospital., The Clinical Governance Administrator will provide comprehensive administration/secretarial support to the Community Services Governance Team.

Duties include preparation of agendas and minute/note taking, maintaining spreadsheets and updating systems, progressing actions/evidence gathering from incidents and complaints with relevant staff and organising RCAs, other meetings and governance events.

The successful candidate will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel and have excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

We provide hospital services from two acute sites - Darlington Memorial Hospital and University Hospital of North Durham. We have a centre for planned care in Bishop Auckland and provide care from community hospitals in Chester-le-Street, Shotley Bridge, Barnard Castle, Sedgefield and Weardale as well as over 80 other community based settings and providing care in patients' homes.
