The Pre Op assessment teams undertake comprehensive medical assessments of all adult patients undergoing elective surgery.

As a CHCSW the role will involve undertaking diagnostic clinics, telephone health questionnaire clinics and a degree of admin preparation for clinics.

All aspects of the role will be supported by the qualified nursing team., The successful candidate will work within an established team running clinics under the support/supervision of the qualified nursing team. This will include, venepuncture, MRSA swabs, ECGs, telephone health questionnaire clinics and assisting in the prepping of clinic notes

Working alongside the nurses on the unit to deliver excellent positive experience.

Working as an effective and responsible member of the team acting consistently with legislation, policies, procedures and other quality approaches adhering to ULHT values and standards.

Grantham and District Hospital serves the communities of Grantham and the local area. It provides ambulatory paediatric and accident and emergency services.

Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) have come together in a Group arrangement, with the goal of improving the care provided to patients across the county.

This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organisations, but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire. Both Trusts will retain their separate statutory names and legal obligations.

The Group will be known as Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG).
