Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity to come and work on an elective Orthopaedic 12 bedded ward that offers training and support to care for patients within the post surgery., The main duties of the job consists of:

Working with a multi-professional team, you will be supporting registered practitioners to deliver high qualitycompassionate health care to people in accordance with assessed needs and to assist with personal care.

This ward is a busy environment and so you will be working together within the team and to attend to various tasks.? Your daily duties will be varied to include:- blood pressure monitoring- oxygen saturation levels- body temperature- pulse rate and respiration rate- glucose monitoring,- collection and testing of urine, faecal and sputum samples- wound swabs- venepuncture- recording your actions accurately in patient notesWorking as part of a team and on your own, you will draw from yourknowledge, skills and experience.
