Full Job Description

We have exciting opportunity within Clinical Haematology Department for an enthusiastic and dynamic Band 5 Team Leader to support the day-to-day operational management of the Administration team., The post holder will be required to provide a comprehensive administration and service coordinator role to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Clinical Hematology and Anti Coag administration service daily. They will assist the Service Manager to ensure sure key performance; quality targets are met, and that the service is developed as per Directorate plans.

The post-holder will be proactive in the management and co-ordination of service issues within the Department as required. They need to be an effective team worker with excellent communication and time management skills of self and other's workloads with the ability to organise and motivate the team to deliver the service to tight deadlines.

The candidate should have a very good level of knowledge around RTT and pathway management. They will also be responsible for the management of several key areas pertinent to the Centers reporting, including outpatient activity and recording. They will also need to have excellent IT skills to manage the day-to-day enquiries received regarding patient bookings.
