The salary scale above has been agreed as part of the NHS Agenda for Change pay award for 2024/2025 and will be implemented in November 2024 backdated to 1st April 2024 where applicable., To provide managerial supervision to staff and to act as a role model to junior staff. To effectively manage the ward in duties such as safe staffing levels, liaise with all health care professions, speak to family members, ensure effective communication is maintained between all agencies. assist in preparation of duty rotas and delegate ward tasks top colleagues., + Work effectively as a senior member of the multi-disciplinary team.
+ Act up in the absence of the Ward Manager.
+ Focus on providing person-centred care, with a shared responsibility for positive risk taking.
+ Assist people to exercise their rights and uphold safeguards to ensure minimal restriction on people's lives, whilst also maintaining the safety of others.
+ Provide clinical leadership in the operation and the development of high quality clinical services that aim to improve recovery outcomes for people with complex mental health problems.
+ Participate in Clinical Supervision and Reflective Practice.
+ To provide managerial supervision to designated staff.
+ To act as an effective role model and mentor to junior staff.
+ Participate in the PADR process and continually update practice and education
