It is a great time to be joining Humber PICU - we have commenced the Quality Network of Psychiatric Intensive Care Units (QNPICU) developmental membership, this is an exciting opportunity for you to be part of leading Quality improvement with the team through this process to achieve Accreditation, which is a mark of assurance of the quality Standards our Unit provides., The service is looking for an enthusiastic individual with acute mental health leadership experience, to enhance and deliver the work being undertaken to optimise the Trust's acute / unplanned pathway., This position requires an inspirational leader who can strengthen the management of ongoing clinical developments and delivery of care within our PICU and the wider Inpatient Service, as part of the senior clinical leadership team.

The role requires the candidate to embrace and promote change and you must be able to demonstrate your adaptability to various situations. The ideal candidate will always have at the forefront of their mind, the need to support service users, carers, and the staff team in a positive, responsive, and compassionate manner.

To ensure these staff do not experience a detriment to their basic pay, the salary for duration of the apprenticeship will be consistent with their current pay or the rate paid to other apprentices, whichever is higher (subject to eligibility criteria)
This change supports exiting NHS employees to undertake a formal apprenticeship programme which, upon completion, would qualify them for a role where the evaluated pay band is the same or higher than the band of their current post.
