Full Job Description

The main responsibilities of this role will be:

  • Overseeing the delivery of high-quality recovery focused care.
  • Providing autonomous clinical support, supervision and guidance to other staff members in the team.
  • Implementing practices that ensure the teams operational and clinical standards are met.
  • Responding to team requests for clinical support in demanding situations
  • Facilitating the more difficult/clinically orientated workshops.
  • Regularly reviewing and updating care plans.
  • Auditing clinical notes and evaluating clinical outcomes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Conducting research to identify areas for development.

The person will need to be able to work well under pressure in a potentially busy and noisy environment, as well as feel comfortable in overseeing a high caseload that covers both primary and secondary care within a team of lived experience members. Therefore, a high level of authority is favourable, in order to help the team take the initiative to successfully implement recovery practices that involve safe risk taking as well as highlight and control important clinical matters for improvement.

CWP provides health and care services for local people, including mental health, learning disability, community physical health and all-age disability care - including the provision of three GP surgeries.
