Full Job Description

We are recruiting for a Clinical Lead Physiotherapist in Chronic Pain who wishes to join our MDT. You should share our passion and drive to ensure that our patients receive quality and compassionate care, and work with us to ensure the Trust values of Caring, Respect, Teamwork and Improvement are met.
The successful candidate will be confident in providing individual and group based therapies to individuals with complex pain. There will also be opportunity to facilitate sessions on the pain management programmes, as well as help shape the future development of this.
You will act as a source of clinical expertise on the management of patients with persistent pain disorders. You should demonstrate excellent communication skills with a strong patient focus. In addition, a high degree of competency and commitment to the development of others to enable them to deliver a quality service with the patient at the centre. You will develop effective treatment plans within the service including joint working within the MDT that includes physio, OT, assistant psychologist, therapies assistant and a consultant medic., + To be responsible and accountable for the day-to-day line management of staff, including first line HR processes, and the provision of AHP services in a designated AHP team.
+ To provide assessment and treatment to own specialist caseload as an autonomous clinician, maintaining a high standard of clinical practice.
+ To provide Leadership in area of work and to be a role model to all AHP staff across the directorate.
+ To organise and participate in providing 7 day services and an extended working day, as required.

Trust policy requires that the cost of submitting & processing a DBS application is met by the successful applicant/s. DBS costs are recovered via salary deduction following starting in post.
