Full Job Description
Are you an accomplished professional with a passion for driving transformative change in healthcare? If so, we are currently seeking a dynamic Clinical Lead to work at national level, to support the delivery of the supervision guidance action within the Strategic Workforce plan for Primary Care.
The postholder will work with stakeholders and draw on existing resources, leading on the development of supervision guidance, to support high quality supervision within multi-professional teams. Development of an implementation plan will consider the skills needed for effective supervision.
The successful candidate will collaborate with key stakeholders addressing a key workforce challenge, which will support recruitment, retention, training and performance management. Their expertise will be crucial in improving healthcare processes and driving quality within primary care, contributing to the delivery of national priorities.
Although this post has been advertised as a fixed term appointment, NHS staff will be offered the appointment as a secondment. If you wish to apply as a secondment opportunity, you must have your line manager's approval. This post may be extended or made permanent at the end of the fixed term/secondment period depending on available funding and business needs., To lead the supervision guidance action of the Strategic Workforce Plan for Primary Care and acting as the key interface between this action and Multi-Professional Primary and Community Care Education & Training Unit, HEIW.
To translate the strategic actions into goals and initiatives to ensure sustainable implementation and delivery across the healthcare system.
We are looking for a candidate who has successfully managed projects/programmes at a senior level, with experience of transformational change within a complex healthcare environment. You will have excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills to engage with a wide variety of stakeholders.
The ability to role model the values and behaviours of the organisation and compassionate leadership are key requirements.
