As one of 2 Teacher Practitioner posts, you'll work closely with our Strategic Lead and Principal Pharmacists for Workforce, Education&Training to develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for our pharmacy team.
This is a joint appointment with the University of Swansea (2.5 days per week); you will join a team of experienced academics/ practitioners teaching undergraduate MPharm students at the University. The other 2.5 days may involve agile working across the CTMUHB sites.
You will have excellent clinical and organisational skills and experience in clinical supervision and teaching with a post graduate clinical pharmacy qualification or equivalent.
The Pharmacy Department is at the forefront of healthcare delivery with a focus on Medicines Management and innovative pharmaceutical practice. We are challenging the current professional roles resulting in a number of innovative new pharmacy led developments, including pharmacists working within outpatient clinics, in our ED departments and admission units.
If you're ready to take on this impactful role which has a blend of leadership, teaching and clinical work, and make a difference in the lives of pharmacy professionals, we want to hear from you., You will support the development and delivery of training programmes for the whole spectrum of staff, within our large pharmacy team (>300 staff, pharmacists, technicians and support staff) in conjunction with the Strategic Lead and Principal Pharmacists, Workforce Development and Education & Training.
You will support the organisation and delivery of medicines related training, to undergraduate pharmacy students on placements within the Health Board.
You will maintain your clinical currency as you provide a specialist clinical pharmacy service to patients and staff in an appropriate speciality.
The post-holder will develop, manage, and promote education and training for all pharmacy staff at CTMUHB. They will help to shape the strategic direction in consultation with the Education and Training and workforce Lead and Principal Pharmacists.
