Full Job Description
Continuous development and training is advocated and supported for the team and its leadership team. The clinical nurse lead will participate in collaborative working with patients, carers and the MDT and community services to facilitate high standards of individualised patient care and progression to successful discharges. They will receive and deliver clinical supervision, appraisals, training opportunities to support in achieving high standards of care.

Thrive is here to support your whole wellbeing which covers emotional, physical, psychological, financial, career and social aspects., Castleside is a ten bedded mixed assessment ward inpatient ward assessing patients with cognitive impairment. The ward has a wide MDT including consultant psychiatrists, psychology, psychology assistants, OT, Physio, Speech and language, Activity facilitators, admin - all of whom work collaboratively with the clinical team and service users in completing assessments of needs and delivering individualised care to support a successful transition and discharge to the appropriate environment when their recovery has been optimised.
The Clinical Nurse Lead will work within a multi-disciplinary team, developing collaborative, needs based care plans, through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation within an Inpatient setting.
They act as an identified deputy in the absence of the Ward Manager.
They facilitate and coordinate clinical practice, ensuring high standards of evidence based care and treatment.
They are visible and accessible to patients, families and carers working together to ensure efficient, effective and caring services.
