Clinical Nurse Lead

We are excited to be able to advertise a Band 6 Clinical Nurse Lead post on Rose Lodge where there will be opportunities to work both as part of a team and independently using initiative.

Continuous development and training is advocated and supported for the team and its leadership team. The clinical nurse lead will participate in collaborative working with patients, carers and the MDT and community services to facilitate high standards of individualised patient care and progression to successful discharges. They will receive and deliver clinical supervision, appraisals, training opportunities to support in achieving high standards of care.

Rose Lodge has 10 beds providing acute assessment and treatment by a multi-disciplinary team. All of the learning disability specialist assessment and treatment wards offer a multi-disciplinary approach (based on Bio-Psycho-Social Mode of Care) to care for adults aged 18 and over with learning disabilities and mental health problems or severely challenging behaviour.

The Clinical Nurse Lead will work within a multi-disciplinary team, developing collaborative, needs based care plans, through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation within an Inpatient setting.They act as an identified deputy in the absence of the Ward Manager.They facilitate and coordinate clinical practice, ensuring high standards of evidence based care and treatment.They are visible and accessible to patients, families and carers working together to ensure efficient, effective and caring services.
