Full Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced CAMHS Liaison and Crisis Support Clinical Nurse Specialist (Band 7) with generic CAMHS experience to work within our pathway., This is a full-time permanent post and is part of a well-established team where professional development and innovative work is actively encouraged. The post holder will, on a rota basis, provide a 7 day crisis service for young people experiencing mental health problems in the Milton Keynes area. The post will be based within MKUH and the post holder will be expected to maintain the close links with the Hospital., The post will include professional and practice development and ensuring high quality client centred care is delivered. The post holder will lead by example to maintain high standards of care and practice and to empower colleagues to take on a greater range of clinical tasks to improve client care in the specialist CAMHS service. The post holder will be a highly visible presence in clinical practice and be accessible to clients and their families. They will provide advice and expertise in the management of complex cases.
