Full Job Description
- Providing support to clients diagnosed with Eating Disorders via meal support, supervision, key work
- Develop and facilitate specialist therapeutic groups as part of the programme.
- Ensuring patient safety and care is maintained at a high standard
- Develop specialist risk assessment skills in a community day programme setting
- Providing supervision to junior staff and students
- Completion of audits.
- Deputising for day programme manager if required.
This is a unique opportunity for a nurse to further their practice and experience within a specialist setting, working within our Day Programme Service This is a wonderful opportunity to develop care co-ordination and nursing leadership skills as part of the management teams. You will need to be a motivated, empathic, skilled and a dedicated individual who can work autonomously as well as part of the wider team. Excellent communication skills in all domains are a must with an ability to work flexibly and dynamically within the various teams in the service as needed. You will be well supported in your role by a friendly, skilled MDT as well as receive regular line management and good clinical supervision in various forms.
