Full Job Description

Are you a Nurse and passionate about working with neurodivergent children & young people? Do you want to work in Buckinghamshire and be able to work from home and a clinical base? Then this role is for you. You will join a friendly and supportive, well-established, and knowledgeable multi-professional team, specialising in the neurodevelopmental assessment of children and people aged 5-17yrs in Buckinghamshire. You will receive quality reflective supervision. You will use your skills to deliver quality assessments and interventions and influence service improvements. You will have opportunities to grow in your career and undertake continuing professional development. As a vital member of the team you will be helping the system to understand the complete identity of the young person including their neurodivergence, mental health and developmental profile., As Clinical Nurse Specialist you will provide key working, direct therapeutic support using evidence based interventions and systemic support for children and young people with complex neurodivergent needs and mental health needs. The post holder will provide expert specialist nursing practice to children and young people under 18 years and will participate in the regular review of clinical policies and guidelines within this field and implement required changes to practice. The post holder will ensure the delivery of effective evidence based clinical practice and will undertake a lead professional role for a complex case load of young people.
