Do you want to be part of a progressive, dynamic multidisciplinary team at the forefront of delivering outstanding Specialist Palliative Care to people in the community?, The Specialist Palliative Care Nurse is an expert in ensuring high quality palliative care is delivered to patients and their families. They are able to work independently, and as part of the wider health care team.

To offer the patient and families the skills of a clinical nurse specialist in symptom control, social, emotional and spiritual care.

To offer advice, support and education to the primary health care team, community and hospital staff where appropriate, as part of a multiprofessional team.

To work from using a multiprofessional approach to care.

To participate in quality initiatives within the department.

We are seeking highly motivated nurses with clinical palliative care knowledge and experience at Band 6 or above, confident decision-making skills, innovative Leadership skills and a passion for continuous service improvement.

St Barnabas House provides specialist palliative care to adults in the Worthing, Adur, Arun and Henfield areas through a range of services, including in-patient care and community living well services.

£45,115 to £52,801 a year depending on depth and variety of experience in a similar role
