Full Job Description

The post holder will collaborate with professionals to give appropriate specialist advice, support, and education on all aspects of Endometriosis and related issues. This is to ensure patients, and their families receive sound clinical research-based care and have access to the necessary service.

The post holder will be an autonomous nurse practitioner and can manage complex clinical situations, providing guidance, supervision and training to peers and junior staff members.

The post holder will assess, plan, and implement management plans, arrange discharge, and follow up care when necessary.

The post holder will be actively involved in monitoring and developing the service across the Trust to ensure patients receive sustainable high-quality care that is safe and effective.

Main duties of the job

To take detailed history of symptoms as well as previous treatments. Both surgical and medical treatments should be documented.

Request appropriate investigations following thorough medical history documentation

To manage and perform prostap ovarian suppression clinics.

To be the interface between the patient and the hospital providing links by telephone helpline and E mail support.

Database management.
