Clinical Nurse Specialist in Epilepsy

The post holder will be part of a team working In a tertiary epilepsy service providing specialist services for patients with epilepsy from across lens. His care is delivered across different environments. The successful candidate will be supported to provide independent nurse clinics in epilepsy as well as reviewing patients in different areas such as the emergency unit, ante-natal, neurosurgery and HMPS. There will also be the opportunity for participating in teaching, audit and research., Working as an autonomous practitioner devise, implement and follow up specialist treatments for patients across the epilepsy spectrum. To be a skilled practitioner providing expert clinical care using an extensive theoretical knowledge base and practical experience to underpin the role, while acting as a role model for the delivery of expert care in Epilepsy.
To deliver specialist educational programs to a range of healthcare professionals on epilepsy, including medical, nursing and allied health professional staff.
