The salary scale above has been agreed as part of the NHS Agenda for Change pay award for 2024/2025 and will be implemented in November 2024 backdated to 1st April 2024 where applicable., The ability to assess complex needs of patients using the biopsychosocial model. The post holder will work independently and as a part of a multi-disciplinary team, using evidence based practice within the area of speciality. The ability to lead, motivate and develop others in pain management.

The post is advertised as a band 7. However, applicants who do not currently meet the skills and competences for the band 7 role, are encouraged to apply and, if successful, will be appointed under annex 21 rules supported by a development plan for 3 years.
Do you have an interest in pain management and want to improve patient care?
We will provide mentorship, education and strive to improve your practice and knowledge.
The post holder will be part of the Musculoskeletal Early Intervention Service who care for outpatients with musculoskeletal pain (of 18 months duration or less) who are based at Chirk Hospital. We are an MDT Service.
