Full Job Description
The Teesside CAMHS Neurodevelopment team are seeking to recruit a new enthusiastic and experienced professional as a member of the leadership team in the Neurodevelopment Assessment Team.
The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering a high standard of clinical leadership to the team as well as the multi-agency team. The post holder will ensure clinical standards are maintained in the delivery of care across all aspects of the service. The post holder will need excellent communication skills to lead and deliver on ongoing service development. Communicate with other stakeholders and share join decision making. The post holder will also provide supervision and leadership to the wider tees Neurodevelopment team.
The model was devised on having the skilled clinical leadership at the front end of the pathway. The post holder along with the multi agency panel will assess for Neurodevelopment conditions and support a child and family through a needs lead approach and identity individual support for the family and younger person. The post holder will need to be skilled in both ASD , ADHD and attachment to offer differential diagnosis screening and possible assessment in relation to ASD/ ADHD and attachment., To apply for this role you will have experience in children's mental health services and work in the community. You will also have an understanding detailed understanding of Safeguarding and Clinical Risk Assessment and Management and its application in practice. The ability to make balanced decisions and use positive risk taking approaches, whilst managing potentially high pressure situations is an essential part of this role. Providing specialist knowledge and support to the team and wider multi-agency colleagues is also integral. We are passionate about the delivery of high quality services that promote and improve the wellbeing of children and young people.A main duty of the role will be to provide support, guidance and training in our local education settings.
