An exciting opportunity has arisen for the post of Clinical Support Worker within the Emergency Department at Wirral University Teaching Hospital.
Applications are welcomed from enthusiastic, experienced Healthcare Workers who keen to deliver high standards of care within the ever changing area of Care.
The Emergency Department is proactively developing its nursing workforce to provide excellent and visionary healthcare for their patients.
You will have a proven track record of achieving high standards of care and also of continuing professional development.
The delivery of safe and effective care is at the forefront of our goals and objectives., + Provides personal care to patients e.g. Bathing, toileting, feeding and care of the dying.
+ Works in accordance to Trust policies and procedures.
+ Demonstrates own duties to new starters and others as appropriate.
+ Observes patients and reports any changes to a Registered Nurse.
+ Perform basic observation process by using automated device for temperature, blood pressure, pulse, oxygen saturations and respiratory.

Trust policy requires that the cost of submitting & processing a DBS application is met by the successful applicant/s. DBS costs are recovered via salary deduction following starting in post.
If the post you are applying for requires a DBS - Inline with Trust policy the cost of submitting and processing a DBS for successful applications would be met by the individual themselves. The amount would vary depending on the level required: Standard Disclosure £18+£6.50 or Enhanced Disclosure £38+£6.50 (please be aware the additional sum is an administration fee and may increase due to inflation). This will be deducted from your salary, in manageable monthly instalments for up to 3 months following commencement of employment.
