An exciting opportunity has arisen to further improve the Ophthalmology Department at Ashford Hospital.

This 37.5-hour role of Clinical Office Administrator is required to provide administrative support to the Surgery Booking Team. Candidates are required to have a high level of organisational skills and someone good at communicating with a wide range of healthcare professionals as well as patients and their relatives., Ophthalmology currently has a vacancy for administration support for the pre-assessment and surgery booking team based at Ashford Hospital to support the current established team.

Administration support will act as an essential point of contact for all patients waiting for a surgical procedure.

In this role, you will be vital in ensuring patients are booked in line with the Trust's Joint Access policy. If you have excellent communication and IT skills, and you are not phased in dealing with patients who may be anxious and have many queries, then please apply or contact me directly if you wish further information regarding the role.
