Full Job Description
The Clinical Operational Manager is a critical role in leading nursing and operational staff to deliver service excellence whilst supporting donor loyalty. Under the direction of the Senior Operations Manager, the post holder will provide operational leadership, expert
clinical advice and management support for the North/South Wales Blood Collections staff.
They will be responsible for leading excellent service provision to support the ongoing delivery and development of the North/South Wales blood collections programme, aligning the service with the wider Welsh Blood Service and Velindre NHS Trust key objectives., The Clinical Operational Manager will work collaboratively with the Senior Operations Managers and wider Operational Delivery team to direct blood collections workforce plans, providing managerial support and deputise for the Senior Operations Manager as required. They will develop and build on the clinical and business programmes, ensuring service delivery meets operational and clinical performance objectives and regulatory requirements.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
