Full Job Description

The post holder will be required to provide highly specialist psychological assessment and intervention (individual and group), in accordance with the evidence base; to provide clinical supervision for team members; to provide consultation to colleagues in the Trust; to undertake research, and to participate in personal CPD and the provision of training to the eating disorders team and to the wider service.
The post holder will be professionally accountable for their work and will work within the ethical code of practice of the relevant professional body. They will be required to work within the framework of the Service's policies and procedures, and will supervise, manage and support the work of less qualified team members and trainees., This post primarily involves psychological assessment, including assessment and monitoring of risk, formulating, planning and implementing both individual and group psychological interventions; consultancy to and supervision of a range of staff in mental health services; teaching and training; service audit/evaluation and research including guidance and supervision on relevant projects; case management and care co-ordination of their own clinical caseload.
