Clinical Pharmacist

To participate in the provision of a safe and effective specialist clinical pharmacy service to designated wards within SWYPFT. To assist Principal Pharmacist / Senior Clinical Pharmacist in the overall provision of pharmacy services to units/teams within SWYPFT. To deputise for Principal Pharmacist / Senior Clinical Pharmacist as appropriate. Maintain and develop efficient and cost effective systems for procurement, compounding, preparation and distribution of medicinal products, which reflect the needs of individual patients/patient groups as determined by the Trust. To ensure compliance with the current law relating to medicines and medicinal products. To consider and adopt as appropriate Department of Health advice and guidance relating to the pharmaceutical services provided.
