Full Job Description

If you are looking for a new opportunity to use your clinical skills and experience to make a difference for the future workforce, there is a fantastic opportunity to join our Clinical Practice Facilitator team. Working alongside this multidisciplinary team, you would provide education and guidance to ensure that a range of Allied Health Professional and Nursing students are supported to be fit for practice., Day to day the aspects of the role will change dependent on the needs of students and staff across the Trust. Some days will focus on travelling to different sites to offer face to face support to students and staff seeking guidance around clinical skills and knowledge. This can include managing difficult conversations and challenging poor practice, and sometimes it can include supporting additional learning needs or signposting students to health and wellbeing services and supporting staff with student assessments. Some days will be used to catch up on email enquiries around placement capacity, practice educator/assessor/supervisor training, or general queries around student placements. Often daily work will consist of agreeing fair share allocation practice placements for students, meeting with teams who are new to supporting students, and liaising with a range of university partners. There will be a lot of close working with staff across all practice areas and Universities around ensuring quality of placement in line with the HCPC and the NMC. There will be opportunity for work around auditing, research, and further service development.
