Full Job Description

We are seeking to recruit a Clinical Research Fellow in Neonatology to work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at King's College Hospital. The post offers the opportunity to undertake research in Neonatology and advance the successful candidate's neonatal training and administrative skills in a teaching hospital environment in preparation for entering a SpR training programme. The post holder will cover an ongoing study for a short period of 6 months due to maternity leave.

The Newborn Unit at King's College hospital is a Level III unit and is recognised as one of two Level III Perinatal Centres in the SE London neonatal network. Its subspecialties include respiratory medicine, neurology, neurosurgery, and thoracic, abdominal and ophthalmic surgery. Currently there are 24 ITU/HDU cots and 12 SCBU cots with over 800 admissions per annum. The unit has an international reputation for its research directed by Prof Anne Greenough.

£43,923 to £55,329 a year per annum plus London allowance
