Full Job Description

Building on our track record of delivering pioneering research we are recruiting for research nurses to work on projects at EMS Healthcare. We are recruiting Clinical Research Nurses to work in their local region on a fixed term basis. Our projects are delivered in state of the art Community Research Units across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in ground-breaking clinical trials and work across different locations carrying out clinical trial activities to ensure the successful recruitment and delivery of clinical trials. You will be responsible for managing clinics within a research team on Community Research Units and will be trained and supported to conduct trial activities. You will work alongside established clinical teams, researchers, research nurses and administrators to facilitate recruitment, sample collection, data entry and providing clinical support as required. You will be required to travel to various sites and undertake clinics in a mobile unit. You will be responsible for ensuring clinical and regulatory compliance, and that each participant journey and their individual experience is to the highest standard, which is a vital part of this role. You will be part of the Clinical Operations Team at EMS Healthcare and work collaboratively with our other teams to ensure efficient delivery of clinical research projects.

To be successful in this role you will need the following experience and skills:

  • NMC Registration
  • Continued CPD
  • Previous research nursing experience
  • Knowledge of research methodology
  • Significant post-registration clinical experience
  • Experience in performing nurse-led clinics.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal/oral)
  • Ability to work accurately and methodically with excellent attention to detail.
  • A team player, whilst possessing ability to work independently.
  • Well organised and able to plan own workload
  • Good IT skills and proficient in MS Office Software.
  • Full, Clean UK driving Licence
  • Have the right to live and work in the UK
