Full Job Description
With support from the clinical academic leads, the post holders will: · Conduct literature reviews of swallow screening tools · Design and undertake a national survey of current practice in swallow screening · Interview patients, staff and family members about their experiences of swallow screening · Analyse data and write up results for peer reviewed publications · Produce recommendations for future practice based on the results of the project · Liaise with patient and public involvement groups · Disseminate findings at conferences · Undertake research methods training
- Hons degree in Nursing/Speech and Language Therapy/Dietetics or related health subject. Professional registration, Postgraduate studies at level 7, Sound knowledge of current issues and legislation within the NHS and clinical research infrastructure in the NHS Evidence of experience of management and multidisciplinary working Participation in QI/audit/service evaluation or research studies Knowledge of duty for safeguarding children and vulnerable adults through policies, procedures and practices relevant for this role, Experience of qualitative research Publications, You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
