Full Job Description

The successful candidate will be a clinical team leader with a helicopter view of the unit. (108 beds) They will be working closely with the band 6 team, whilst providing standardized coordination of the unit. They will be required to focus, facilitate and influence the team to provide a high standard of quality safe care, whilst maintaining efficient and effective flow through the organization.
It will be that of an extended role with clinical skills and ability to support the ward manager of the unit in respect of policing standards, communicating expectations and exemplary role modelling.

We are seeking a team of experienced, enthusiastic, driven senior nurses with excellent clinical and communication skills to join Acute Medicine (AMU and Short stay) at SWBH in preparation for a new way of working at MMUH. This is an acute area currently based across our 2 existing sites, which aims to provide specialized acute service to treat those with varying medical conditions. It includes enhanced care beds, short stay unit and frailty pathway.
