Full Job Description

To provide clinical leadership and support to colleagues to ensure patient care of the highest standards are maintained across the Trust 24 hrs a day, assist staff with resolving clinical concerns and respond to emergency situations. Work closely with the Senior Clinical Site Managers to manage patient flow/pathways., To assist in the management of the site, patient flow and coordination of clinical activities working closely with clinical and managerial colleagues.

The post holder will work closely with Senior Clinical Site Manager to ensure timely and appropriate escalation of issues and implement actions to promote accurate patient pathways. The post holder will liaise closely with all members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient and effective multidirectional communication, in order to deliver a high quality service to the patient and their relatives. The post holder will contribute to the management of the site, and will be designated to deputise for the Senior Clinical Site Manager in their absence. They will have the opportunity to develop their organisational and clinical skills further in this post. They will be expected to contribute to the professional development of junior staff within the site, and enhance their skills as a role model.
