An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a Clinical Social Worker in our CAMHS North team, delivering a high quality service provision that promotes and improves the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people and their families.

We are seeking an energetic, highly motivated social worker who is willing to develop skills and knowledge in the assessment and treatment of children and young people; to deliver care, advice and support to children and young people with mental health problems.

You must be a SWE registered social worker and possess experience of working directly with service users. You will be responsible for demonstrating excellent clinical outcomes and safe and effective delivery of care to children and young people.

We have a number of ongoing projects including working in partnership with young people to re design our clinic room spaces, working to better meet the needs of young people with neurodiversity who are accessing our service, and the development of the intervention offer for families of our young people.

We welcome all new staff to the team with a robust induction process to equip them for the work they will take forwards and promote leadership at all levels within the team.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be required to prioritise attendance at all training, attend supervision and apply reflective practice continuously to enable learning needs to be identified and met.
