The Durham and Darlington CAMHS Neurodevelopmental Assessment Team are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced professional to join our dynamic and evolving team. We are a Neurodevelopmental Assessment Team and are looking for a Clinical Specialist to support the team in delivering high quality assessments to children and young people aged 0-19., The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering a high standard of clinical leadership to the team as well as the multi-agency team. The post holder will ensure clinical standards are maintained in the delivery of care across all aspects of the service., Providing specialist knowledge and support to the team and wider multi-agency colleagues is also integral. We are passionate about the delivery of high quality services that promote and improve the wellbeing of children and young people.
The post holder will need excellent communication skills to lead and deliver on ongoing service development. Communicate with other stakeholders and share join decision making.
The post holder will need to be skilled in the assessment of children with the ability to differentiate other potential factors such as attachment.
To apply for this role you will have a detailed understanding of Safeguarding and Clinical Risk Assessment and Management and its application in practice. Neurodevelopmental Assessment is a growing agenda nationally and, thus, there is a high demand across County Durham and Darlington. Having the skills and confidence to manage a high pressure role involving reporting directly to commissioners and the Trust senior managers is an essential part of this role.
