Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist

Are you passionate about working with people with neurological conditions, ensuring they receive the best therapy assessment and rehabilitation whilst an inpatient in an acute hospital? Then this opportunity is for you., We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to share well-developed clinical and leadership skills to support the ongoing development of this dynamic and proactive team. As the successful candidate you will be responsible for the clinical delivery of highly specialised Occupational Therapy for patients with complex neurological assessment and rehabilitation needs. You will offer skilled clinical leadership and will facilitate supervision and training of staff within the team. You will work as a vital part of the team supporting the Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner to develop the service.

• Clinical expertise in working with patients with complex neurological rehabilitation needs
• Experience in providing clinical training
• An ability to work autonomously within an MDT, taking the lead OT role
• An ability to initiate, evaluate, and sustain changes to service delivery
