Full Job Description

We have an opportunity to welcome aclinician to our organisation working as a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist. This is a fixed term, full time, band 7 position for 12 months. You will be based across clinics in the Eye, Stowmarket and Felixstowe. You will be helping to support ourclinicians in managing complex patients as an autonomous, highly specialist physio. This will involve joint / problem solvingsessions and also providing clinics for further assessment and management ofhighly complex cases. You may hold asmall caseload yourself and also assist with various triage duties. You will be working to develop morejunior colleagues knowledge and skills; leading in-service training programs andhelping to create best practice guidelines and clinical pathways. You will be working alongside colleagues inthe Clinical Leadership Team in completing clinical audits to ensure there isnecessary governance in place and that we are continuously striving to improveour clinical practice. As a member of our team, you willdevelop your own clinical skills with access to internal and external trainingcourses and also working alongside Advanced Practitioners and the ClinicalLeadership Team who will help to support you. We are unable to offer sponsorship. Main duties of the job RESPONSIBLE FOR : Developmentand delivery of high quality service within Physiotherapy. Assessmentand management of complex patients. Developopportunities for practice which extends the scope traditional Physiotherapy. Trainingand support of Physiotherapists and support staff to deliver high quality,evidence-based service provision.

Essential

  • Degree / Graduate Diploma in relevant therapy
  • HCPC Registered
  • Evidence of studying at or towards academic level 7 in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy
  • Able to demonstrate continuing professional development up to date, relevant CPD portfolio
  • Desirable
  • Membership of appropriate special interest group
  • Management / Leadership training
  • CSP Member
  • Minimum 5 Years post qualification musculoskeletal experience
  • Skills & Abilities Essential
  • Advanced clinical practice and clinical reasoning skills to specialist level
  • Able to critique research papers and implement relevant findings. Able to give clear, concise written and verbal reports.
  • Excellent communications skills, including the ability to process and share highly complex information in a confidential manner.
  • Demonstrate professional affairs in a confident, assertive manner, using negotiating / influencing skills whilst maintaining excellent working relationships with all stakeholders.
