Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist in Pelvic Health

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Trust for an experienced and dynamic physiotherapist to join our highly specialist Pelvic Health Team in University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust. This team works as part of the Therapy team in the Outpatients and Paediatrics specialty and is based between two hospital sites: Leicester General Hospital and Leicester Royal Infirmary.

The successful candidate will work in partnership with the existing Pelvic Health Physiotherapy team and the wider Maternity, Urogynaecology, Colorectal and Urology MDT. Their primary role will be as part of the Perinatal Pelvic Health Service for Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland., To be responsible for the assessment and treatment of patients requiring specialist and/or complex Pelvic Health physiotherapy using enhanced clinical decision making skills. The focus of the post will be for the Perinatal Pelvic Health service. Experience in the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of antenatal and postnatal women is required as you could encounter patients in the following specialties: gynaecology, urogynaecology, colorectal and obstetrics.
