Full Job Description

To deputise for the breast screening Programme Manager on a day to day basis in her absence with all of the associated responsibilities of taking
the necessary appropriate action as and when required.
To work in conjunction with the breast screening Programme Manager to co-ordinate and ensure an effective and highly specialised clinical breast
screening service is provided at all times liaising with all members of the multi-disciplinary team and external agencies e.g. estates, engineers and
equipment manufacturers.
To provide a professionally competent service to clients within a safe clinical environment. To undertake clinical duties as per specialist
radiographer
To be responsible for the co-ordination of the educational requirements of a multi-disciplinary team of staff including Radiographers, Assistant
Practitioners, Radiographic Helpers and Administration staff.

We are looking to recruit a Deputy Breast Screening Programme Manager / Superintendent Radiographer. It is desirable that you will need to have a track record within breast screening and be a natural leader who is looking to step up to this challenge.
The breast unit is looking to expand through lateral growth to incorporate new technologies such as CESM and ABUS alongside current
technologies such as tomography. We are seeking a hardworking and dedicated individual to join our forward thinking breast care team. You will
need to be motivated, passionate and able to work alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team and stakeholders.
The post holder must be a car driver with a valid UK driving license.
